Harvey Weimer beloved husband of Diana, of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the age of 69 years. Harvey was a caring, funny and selfless man, whom was devoted to his family and friends. He was chief inspector for large pipeline projects in Alberta and Saskatchewan; as well as, a chief inspector for Nova for 15 years. Harvey is survived by his wife, Diana; children, Katreena Lowry, Nicole Weimer, James Weimer, Trevor Weimer, Charles Moulton, Kathleen Moulton, Jill Thordarson and Joanne Takala; grandchildren, Corissa Lowry, Bethany Lowry, Deleena Lowry, Tanaya Weimer; Elijah Carnell, Josiah Carnell, Benjamin Weimer, Cassandra Moulton, Samantha Moulton, Connor Moulton, Tyler Hoesktra, Mark Hoekstra, Axel Lubeck, Michael Allan, and Eric Takala; his siblings and their spouses, Martin Weimer and Marianne Dixson, Katherine Puymon, Tillie and Reg Leibel, Joe Weimer and Diana Cumnan; Liz and Dan Rainey, Bernadette Weimer and Tony Miller, Deb and Kelly Thome, and Irene and Tim Rissling. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends. Harvey was preceded in death by his brother, Nick Weimer; father, Ben Weimer; sister, Rose Marie Sulz; granddaughter, Alanta Moulton; and mother, Emelia Weimer. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Eastside, 5388 Memorial Drive N.E., Calgary, AB) on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
