Elizabeth Stephanie Montez, was welcomed home by our Heavenly Father on October 21, 2017. She was born on November 26, 1969 to Juan Jose Montez and Janie Vega, in Corpus Christi, TX.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her father, Juan Jose Montez, grandparents that raised her, Dario and Elvira Uribe, and a brother Dezi Montez.
Ms. Montez is survived by her mother Janie Vega, two sisters, Elvira and Janie Montez, nephews Charlie, Christopher, Corey Mahan and David Elizondo, who were like her children to her. A favorite aunt Gloria Ramirez that mean the world to her. Numerous other uncles and aunts.
Elizabeth Stephanie, was known as one of the most beautiful, kind, gentle, and loving human beings we have ever known. She was never afraid or ashamed to be true to herself or anyone else. She was the sweetest most kind, most courageous, most selfless person that would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need and most often did. We want to thank her for being a light in this world and not being afraid to share it with others. Thank you for showing us what it truly means to love and forgive others. We love you always. Until we meet again Sweet Sister! Earth's loss is heaven's gain.
Do not judge others by their looks, their sexual orientation, their education, their financial status, color of skin, or religion. Be open minded and open hearted to seek beyond that I chose to see God in every living being I meet in this life. Even if it means they have done me wrong. I choose to be better not bitter. Do not limit your Wisdom! Begin to see the light within US ALL!"
Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Catholic Church, Corpus Christi, TX. A Funeral Service will be held that same day at 3:00 p.m.
Interment will be at later date.
