Robert Haren Obituary
Robert Weisant Haren died March 6 at age 93. He was born Nov. 16, 1922 in Robertsville, Ohio to Sylvester and Ann Haren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Householder Haren, and daughter, Roberta Haren Belden, his parents and four older brothers, Fritz, Michael, Bernard, and Richard.
Survivors include his son Donald, son-in-law Dan Belden, Jr., grandchildren Steve Haren (Dee), Daphne Fetterman, Daniel C. Belden (Dana)' and Susan Pechersky (Scott), eight great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Robert served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific theater in World War II and was awarded two Bronze Stars. During a long career he was employed at Hercules Motors, Kling Auto, Bill's Auto, and Remlinger Auto.
Funeral services will be held Thursday March 10 at 11:30 a.m. at the Wackerly Funeral Home with Fr. Edward Beneleit officiating. Burial with military honors will be in St. Peter's Cemetery following the ceremony. Friends may call Thursday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
