John Petrison Obituary

Petrison, John N.
Age 72, Indianapolis, IN
passed away on June 20, 2009. He was born on April 19, 1937 in Canton, OH, to the late Nicholas and Anna Petrison. John attended Canton McKinley High School, Kent State University, and graduated in 1968 from Salmon P. Chase College of Law with a Doctorate of Jurisprudence. In 1974, he was the Indiana State Chess Champion. From 1973-1992, he worked at the National Labor Relations Board. He is survived by his loving children, Mark J. Petrison, David E. Petrison, Julie M. Petrison, Lisa A. Petrison; and sisters, Vivian Olsen of Santa Fe, NM, Vicki Lewin of Augusta, GA, and Christine Burroughs of Albuquerque, NM. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. I'm very sorry to hear about John. I still fondly recall all of the days of parties at the lake along with all of the chess and war games we used to play. My thoughts are with all of the family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Petrison family. I consider/ed Vivian my best friend for many years and Vicky a close friend also. The entire family always made me feel welcome,big brother John and little sister Christine included.
