Leona Frank Obituary

Leona C. Frank
age 93 of Louisville, passed away June 15, 2011 at her home with her loving family at her side. Leona was born July 20, 1917 in Caldwell, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edward and Rose (Michel) Crock. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Harrisburg where she was active with the Senior Citizens group, Altar and Rosary Society and Mission Club. Leona's hobbies included playing cards, baking and traveling. The most important thing in her life was family and the time they spent together.
Leona is survived by her children, Joseph (Dee) Frank of Malvern, Beth Frank of Mantua, John (Nancy) Frank of Alliance, Carol (Tom) Glover of Florida, William (Melinda) Frank of Louisville, Thomas (Kay) Frank of Louisville, Donald (Julie) Frank of Louisville, Mary (Dan) Ginther of Hartville, Karen (Kevin) Conley of Louisville, Richard (Tammy) Frank of Alliance, Charles (Nancy) Frank of Louisville and Anne (Ken) Eddleman of Louisville; twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Frank; sister, Dorothy Crock and brother, Rev. Father Herman Crock.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Leona Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Harrisburg. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Leona's family will receive friends Monday from 4:30-8 p.m. at the Paquelet- Falk Funeral Home in Louisville where a prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Sacred Heart of Mary Church, the Senior Citizens group or the Alliance Visiting Nurses Assoc. and Hospice.
