Joyce E. Murray

Joyce Elizabeth Murray (Burns), 81, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 10, 2014. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Bernard F. Murray, of Abbottstown, PA and formerly of Linthicum; three loving children, Robin (Ron) Brocious of Linthicum, Kevin Murray of Chester, and Dana A. Jett (Stanley Jr.) of East Berlin, PA.; seven cherished grandchildren, Amy (Craig) Babst, Craig Brocious, Kyle & Macy Murray, Kirsten & Christian Arcarese, and Stanley Jett III; and three devoted great-grandchildren, Kira, Khloe & Kendall Babst. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Nellie Burns (White), and two brothers Gerald & Thomas Burns. Her greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joyce had the ability to fill a room with life, love and laughter. She enjoyed telling stories about family, friends and life in general. She enjoyed watching QVC, playing Bingo and was an avid gardener. A Celebration of Life service was held yesterday at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Glen Burnie.
