It was a pleasure and honor to have served with Scott in B Co. 519th Military Intelligence Battalion (Tactical Exploitation) (Airborne) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina and during OPERATION JUST CAUSE in Panama and OPERATIONS DESERT SHIELD and STORM in Saudi Arabia. He was a great room-mate and friend. We did road marches together, jumped out of airplanes as Paratroopers and deployed together. I sure miss him and treasure the memories.

My thoughts of Scott are filled with laughter and great times. He was a caring, thoughtful, and generous man. I had always admired his accomplishments as a veteran, firefighter, and dedicated reenactor. I also treasure the fact that he allowed our families to grow and get to know each other so well. He changed and shaped our lives in a great way, and for that I will always remember, and be thankful for.

Scott's passing has devastated his new family at the Maryland Division of Labor and Industry where he recently accepted employment. How fortunate we were to have him within our employ and not only gain from his experience, but also to share his friendship. Scott was a unique individual with many talents. He was suited well for the work at our shop because he had a knack to get to the bottom of the issue. Knowing him professionally for a short period, allowed all of us to obtain a clear understanding of his devotion to his wife, step children, family and community. Our condolences to his wife and family for their loss. He will be sorely missed.
