Thomas Steinberg Obituary

Thomas Edward Steinberg, 62, of Hampstead, died Sunday, May 13, 2012, at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, following a brief illness.

Born Jan. 18, 1950, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Edward and Dorothy Jean Purtee Steinberg.

Prior to retirement, he had worked as a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of HOG, the Harley Owners' Group. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

Surviving are sons and daughter-in-law Adam Steinberg, of Hampstead, and Brad E. and Cynthia Steinberg, of Hanover, Pa.; sisters Joyce Joerger, of Reisterstown, Lisa Martin, of Westminster, and Catherine Denise Reynolds, of York, Pa.; and brothers Roy Lee Steinberg, of Glenville, Pa., and Christopher Don Steinberg, of Abingdon.

A celebration of life will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Eline Funeral Home, 934 S. Main Street, Hampstead. Interment will be private.
