One of the best friends I ever had. He was a fine person and I have such great memories of Jim and his family. During my early career, he guided and advised me, this hard head! Our families camped together at Rocks Pond. Those were great times. I miss you friend

Special friends only come along once in awhile. Jim Ziegler was one of those special friends who had a strong influence and positive affect on my life and career. He was there when I didnt deserve his friendship, watching out for me and encouraging me. I just wish I could have been a better friend to him. I miss hearing his voice, the good times and the great conversations we had. Today, I celebrate the life, the memories and the friendship of Jim Ziegler. My love to Sandra, Jimmy, Michael, Susan and David

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He and my dad (Clark Sanders) were friends and co-workers and I worked with him years ago at Navelex. He had an unforgettable smile and always had time to ask how you were. He will always have a special place in my heart and I hope your family finds consolation in knowing how he touched so many lives.

As you know, he inspired me as a young man to be the best I could be, not to mention many, many others. To this day, I have not known a man more dedicated to advancing young men through sports, and I owe more to Mr. Ziegler that I could ever repay. During this time of your loss, please know that Mr. Ziegler's legacy will not only live on within your family, but within the countless lives of everyone he touched throughout the years.
