I will always remember Booby's spirit and guidance. Before I started Pharmacy school in ky, he wanted me to go to school in Carolina and stay in his old office

by the beach; I still think of this to this day even though it happened 35 years ago. Sydney and I

'Doc' accomplished more in one lifetime any ten men could hope to achieve. He was the epitome of the Southern Statesman,Gentleman, and Outdoorsman. He lives forever in well loved memories of "This Is It" and "Caledonia",among his friends. My love to the family, and to you John,Buddy, and Gator. Your Father was an awesome man.

My heart aches for you all but especially for you Shirley. I always admired and respected Booby for his wry humor and toughness. If anybody deserved his wrath it was me but he took mercy on me. I learned the meaning of southern hospitality and graciousness from the Springs. Booby will always have a special place in my heart.

My Prayers and Love Go Out To You,

Mike
