Marion Uldrick

ULDRICK, Marion GREENVILLE, SC - Marion Baskin Uldrick, 80, of 604 Roper Mountain Road, husband of Virginia S. Uldrick, died Saturday, April 30, 2005. Born in Abbeville, SC; he was a son of the late William Baskin and Kirby Leee Cothran Uldrick. He was a President of Uldrick & Company, Inc., until his retirement, a past president of the Greenville Home Builders Association and a member of the State and National Associations. He was a member of the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors, and was a member of the Sertoma Club of Greenville. Mr. Uldrick was a member of Buncombe Street United Methodist Church and was a US Navy Veteran of World War II. Surviving in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Lisa Uldrick of Greenville; a granddaughter, Victoria Nicole Payne and a grandson, Michael Scott Payne and his wife Lindsay of Greenville. He was predeceased by a son, Stephen Michael Uldrick. Also surviving are a brother, Lucius B. Uldrick and his wife, Julia F. Uldrick of Seneca; two nieces, Kimberly Yamshack and her husband Marty of Starr, SC, and Dr. Kelly Pew and her husband Paul of Easley; two great-nieces, Paige Pew of Easley and Rachael Yamshack of Starr, SC; and two great-nephews, Harrison Pew of Easley and Jacob Yamshack of Starr, SC. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at Buncombe Street United Methodist Church with The Rev. Dr. Doug Bowling and the Rev. Dr. James Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family is at the home but will receive friends at The Mackey Mortuary Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities, 15 University Street, Greenville, SC 29601, buncombe Street United Methodist Church, 200 Buncombe Street, Greenville, SC 29601 or the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.
