Charles Colbert Obituary

Charles Francis Colbert, III Summerville - Charles Francis Colbert, III, 68, of Summerville, husband of Elaine Colbert, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Veteran's Victory House in Walterboro. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 9 o'clock AM at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Street, Summerville. Burial will be held at Beaufort National Cemetery following the service at 12 o'clock PM. A Rosary service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 6:30 PM at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church. Charles was born on August 19, 1946 in Niagara Falls, NY son of the late Charles F. Colbert, Jr. and Naomi Schneider Colbert. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He was a member of VFW Post 3433 in Ladson. He was a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church. Surviving in addition to his wife Elaine are: one son: Charles F. Colbert, IV (Mary Leigh) of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren: Clayton Charles Colbert and CharLeigh Colbert.
