Gregory A. "Sandy" Swank CHARLESTON - Gregory A. "Sandy" Swank, 55, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 3:30 am at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, SC., after a long term bout with Lung disease.. The family will receive friends Thursday evening June 18, 2015 in J.HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sandy was the son of Mr. Glenn E. Swank and the late Mrs. Eleanor (Peggy) Swank of Danville, PA. He was a Philadelphia, PA city tour guide as well as the museum manager at Cliveden of the National Trust in Philadelphia before retiring to South Carolina and was an active member of the International Costumer's Guild. He is survived by his spouse of 21 years, Robert M. Himmelsbach of Charleston, SC; two sisters, Mrs. Gail Roadarmel of Paxinos, PA, and Mrs. Glenda Harring of Mt. Carmel, PA. He is preceded in death by his brother Mr. Gary G. Swank of Elysburg, PA in January of this year. A memorial message may be sent to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com.
