Jay Washington was a great player and dedicated teammate. He was "poetry in motion" when he ran the football. Very sorry to hear of his passing. He was much too young to leave us. Sending prayers and blessings to the Washington family.

I smile thinking about #27 cruising through a hole or around a corner wearing blue and gold. "Jay" brought smiles to me and my Dad as we watched him as a Bomber. One of our favorites of all time, and memories that I cherish since my own Dad passed on. Thanks Jay, may you rest in peace.
