What a wonderful gathering of family and friends for Larry today. WOW, he and their family is so very loved. I liked especially the wonderful way Katie and Patrick expressed to all in attendance about their father, and things we did not know about this man we all love. I was honored to be a part of this celebration of people who mean the world me to me. I will do anything at all to help this family go forth with their lives. I am so happy about Katie and Bret having another baby!!To those of you who I have followed in the Caringbridge website, I feel like I know you so well.
To Anne, I love you like a sister, and will always be here for you. To Maureen, maybe some day we will meet.
Much Love,
Diane

Dear Anne,
The wonderful reflection on Larry's life was reminder of how much one wise and committed man with a loving wife and family can accomplish in a very short time. I hope that all the memories of Larry's resilience and goodness, his talents and deep love for all of you will be a source of comfort in the days ahead.
Know that you and your family are in my prayer, Anne. Love, Katie

Larry Gildea is one of those men who lights up a room when he enters. A party was not a party if Larry wasn't there. He treated our children like they were his own. They love the fact that he was always interested in what they were doing.
Our life was better having known such a wonderful person.
Molly, it is your turn to enjoy him now.
Love you forever Larry,
Diane
