Gayle Tolbert Obituary

Gayle McManus Tolbert MIDLAND - Gayle Tolbert, 64, of Midland, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014. She will be remembered as a loving, giving, and joyful wife and mother. Gayle truly loved her Lord and Savior. Her faithfulness as a Christ-follower was reflected in her daily walk with Him. She and her devoted husband, Larry, are members of Central Church of God. The opportunity to serve Christ was an exciting daily adventure she wanted to share with everyone. In addition to her husband, Larry, her immediate family includes six daughters, Dana Ramsey, Lorrie Meadows, Maria Rushing-Tomlin, Crystal Epperson, Tennille Brown, and Lauren Ayers; her brother, Mike McManus; and thirteen grandchildren. Family visitation will begin at 2:30pm Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, in the narthex of Central Church of God, 5301 Sardis Rd., Charlotte, NC 28270. A service in celebration of Gayle's life will follow in the sanctuary at 4:00pm. Burial will be 11:00am Monday at United Love Baptist Church in Midland. The Tolbert family is in the care of Gaskin Funeral Services, Matthews, where online condolences may be offered at www.gaskinservices.com.
