Doris Pledger Obituary
Doris J. Pledger, 89, of Charlotte, died Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Huntersville Oaks Nursing Home.
The funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in the chapel at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Sharon Memorial Park.
A native of Charlotte, Mrs. Pledger was born to the late Albert Jarrett and Maude Jarrett on December 3, 1920. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Mrs. Pledger was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph William Pledger. She was a loving and devoted mother.
Mrs. Pledger is survived by her son, Danny W. Pledger of Charlotte; niece, Sandy Shaw of Charlotte and nephew, Harry Jarrett of Columbia, SC.

Danny,
I just saw your Mother's obituary in the paper. I remember when you had to put your Mother in the nursing home and how devastated you were. Please know, you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I miss talking to you since I retired from Dr. Petty's office.
