William Keith Strickland
'Woody'
Mr. Strickland, 55 of Charlotte, formerly of Columbia, SC, died Sunday, May 23, 2010.Born December 21, 1954 and raised in Columbia, Woody was the son of Robert and Mildred Poe Strickland. A Charlotte resident for the past 8 years, Woody, as he was known to his family and friends, worked in sales at Lowes Home Improvement.
Mr. Strickland is survived by his wife, Christine; parents, Robert and Mildred Poe Strickland of Columbia; brother, Robert Strickland of Pawleys Island; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A service to celebrate the life of Woody will take place on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 1001 Queens Rd, Charlotte. Visitation will take place at the church following the service.

Mr. and Mrs. Stickland, Like I told you on the phone, we are so sad and sorry about Keith. There are times we just don't understand why things like this happens. I have so many good memories of growing up with him and Bobby in the church and as friends.

May the Lord bless you and keep you and the family in his prayers as you go through this sad time.

Robert, Mildred, and Family, My heart is breaking for your lost. Know my thought and prayers are with you. Remember Keith will always be with you, in your heart, your memory, he will be the angel that meets you one day. He will walk beside you in your sorrow. He knows how much he was loved and he loved you also. He will be deeply missed by all who was touched by his friendship, compassion, and love.
