Judee Windham Obituary
Mrs. Windham, 57, of Charlotte, NC, died November 30, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center.
Judee was born February 24, 1953 in Taylorsville, NC the daughter of Luke Hafer and Doris Icenhour Hafer. She worked many years as an optician with Lens Crafters and worked tirelessly with 'Give the Gift of Sight', an organization helping those in need of glasses and eye care. Judee served on mission trips to other countries to help in any way she could.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1900 The Plaza, Charlotte, with Pastor Nancy Kraft, Senior Minister, officiating.
In addition to her parents, Judee is survived by her husband, Randy Windham; a daughter, Stephanie Weatherford; a son, Cain Windham and wife, Krisie; two grandchildren: Alexis Lane Windham and Londyn Kayn Windham; three brothers: David Hafer, Al Hafer of Charlotte, NC and Chris Hafer of Savannah, GA. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Alex.

Judee was not only my friend but we shared the most valuable gift that GOD could have blessed us with, our grandchildren. She was one awesome lady, loving, caring, giving to others unselfishly. She loved her grandchildren and children with every ounce of herself. She is missed by so many but welcomed to heaven by those awaiting her arrival. You'll always be in my heart. I love you, Juju!

My dear Ju-Ju, I will never get to call you that again. You have touched my life in so many, many ways and I will never forget that. I just can't imagine this world without you in it, you will be deeply missed and are truly loved by many. I can't say Thank you enough for everything that you have ever done for my family or me.
