Dear Bonnie and Family,
Sending words of condolence and friendship at this very sad time. I have very early memories of visiting with you and your family at your home on Troy Street, seeing you in the schoolyard at Green School, and then realizing you were my next door neighbor in the Florida Avenue Residence Hall at the University of Illinois, years after our family had moved to Evanston. I always remember your dad as a kind and gentle man -- truly a legend at Edward Don and Company where he worked alongside my late father, Larry Adler, for so many years.

My sincere condolences---I bowled with Stuart for 25 years and what a wonderful man. I am so sorry I will not be able to attend the services as we are now living in Arizona. He will long be remebered.

I would like everyone to know about my wonderful father-in-law. He was so devoted to his beloved wife, Dorothy, was best friends with his son, Jerry and was so proud of his daughter, Bonnie and all of her accomplishments. He was an inspiration to us all. He was truly a family man and I am so blessed to have 45 years of great memories of holiday dinners, vacations, and just spending time together. He was our family adviser - we would all run to him before making important decisions. He was a lucky man because he was surrounded by good friends, neighbors, and a devoted daughter and her husband Joe. He spent most of his last 4 years with his caregiver, George, whose tremendous abilities enabled Stuart to stay in his house and live a happy life. His other part-time care givers, Abel, and Lorenzo, were so kind to him and he was happy to be with them also.
God bless you Dad Stuart and rest in peace. I love you and will miss you. Thank you for being the best father-in-law ever!

Based on my 56 year friendship with Bonnie I knew that her dad was a legend on so many levels. A sweet, loving man devoted to living his life well. My heart goes out to you Bonnie.
