Sandy became a dear friend despite our knowing each other such a short time. Whatever she did- whether it was preparing dinner or organizing an event - had to meet her exacting standards. One of my favorite memories was being in the kitchen with Sandy and other EYC moms preparing goodies for a bake sale - we had a blast! Sandy's legacy will live on through her beloved family and all the people fortunate enough to call her friend.

Sandy was a beautiful and articulate woman. Her friendship meant so much to me. I will miss her cooking, gardening and parenting advice. She was one of the smartest women I know. My love and prayers are sent to her daughters and grandchildren.

To all of Sandy's family and friends--I share in your loss but her spirit was so strong--I stll feel her presence--she was a dear friend to me. A great gardener, interior decorator and community volunteer--she was all of these and much more to the town she lived and worked in here in Columbus. She was a great mother to Heather and was always contributing to her work at school, at church, and in the Columbus Girl Choir. Sandy was a great help to me in the Tennessee Williams Tribute--my stage mamnager in Cat On A Hot Tin Roof--she was the best--I can still see her walking about the stage to check that everything was in place. She gave and gave to all around her and I will miss her everyday for the rest of my life--especially her flower garden, laughter, great cooking and a sympathic ear to all who needed her friendship and counsel. Rest In Peace my dear friend-- God's blessings to all your family.

The Lord must have needed some help in His garden. He has a good one now - I just hope he can keep up with her.
Sandy was brave and determined in her fight against cancer. She fought the good fight and now has gone on to her well deserved reward. We will miss her.
