Bernard Wolfe Obituary

The Hon. Bernard B. "BB" Wolfe; age 101; Lt. United States Navy, World War II; State Representative from 1964-1974 where he chaired the Family Study Commission, instrumental in changing laws regarding Sudden Infant Death Syndrome; Cook County Circuit Court Judge 1974-1984; at age 100, he was the JAG Officer of Post 800 Jewish War Veterans. Beloved husband of the late Harriett, nee Poncher and Beulah Zee Wolfe; loving father of Bunny (Rob) Polovin and Rick (Carol) Wolfe; step father of Steve (Pat) Zee and the late Flora Fishbein; proud grandfather of 10; blessed with many great grandchildren. Private family services have been held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SIDS of Illinois, Inc., 6010 Rt 53, Ste A; Lisle, IL 60532, 630-541-3901.
