Jim was very good to my mom and my family. I know it is very hard for every one but he is with our God and we will see him again one day. He really was a great man. I didn't say it much either though, but I love you Jim.. You were great to us.

Daddy, I've missed you for so long and now I long for u so badly. The water will forever be our place. I've been spending the last week at the pier just trying to get out all my thoughts. You will forever be in my heart and I ask you to forever look over me and keep my safe. This journey is going to be a long one without you, but having you up there looking over me will only makes things better. I hope you know how much I love you, I'm sorry you didnt hear it enough. Enjoy your sail! Time for you to be happy and free! xoxoxoxox times a million and one. your babygirl,
Allie

You were my first love and we spent many good years together. I thank you for our beautiful daughter Allie who misses you more than words can say. Watch over her. You are now her guardian angel and she can have you with her always. Happy sailing, you are now at peace.

This is the Jimmy I will remember. Holding my daughter Mary.

Jimmy was always a kind man and truly would go out of his way to help a friend. He and I seemed to cross paths often through our lives and Jim will be remembered fondly as he always brought a smile to my face.

I loved Jimmy with all my heart. He helped me and my children in so many ways. I miss him so much. He loved his beautiful daughter, Alison. We had 4 loving years together. I'm happy he is with our Lord, but it will be difficult living without him by my side.

Jim and I had a couple classes together at NTE. Unless i'm confused, I remember him riding his Schwinn Orange Crate bike back in the mid-'70's! RIP guy, hope to see you at the class reunion one day!

To Jim's family and friends, our family met Jim last year when he came to the Lazy A Campground. Jim was a kind and generous man who would go out of his way to help out anyone he could. He will be greatly missed and fondly thought of; we are thankful for the short time we had with him. Jim had many stories to tell about his family and I know how much he wanted to go to Chicago this summer for a visit. You could always count on Jim to make you laugh; if you got his humor. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we share in your loss. The Ashton Family
