Vera Z. Romuk, nee Zyznieuski, 78, of Chicago, died May 4. Devoted wife of the late Dr. Witold Romuk (March 9, 2010); loving mother of Irena (Dr. Roland) Tolliver of Freeport, IL and John Romuk, Granite Bay, CA; dearest grandmother (Babula) to Mary (David) Brown, Veronica, Claire, Teresa and Gregory Tolliver and Shelby and Scott, Tristan and John Gage Romuk; dear sister of the late Nikodem and sister-in-law of Anna Zyznieuski of Chicago and Stanislava (Stanislau) Sot and Fred (Halina) Romuk of Belarus; special aunt to Mary Ann, Walter, George, and Lila. Vera was a member of Belarusian Coordinating Committee of Chicago, the Belarusian Youth Organization of IL, and the past director of the Belarusian Dance Group. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 8, from 9 to 10 a.m., with Funeral Service immediately following at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home , 5776 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, IL, 60630.
