To the Zemeckis Family,

I am saddened hearing that my friend Rose has left us. I have met thousands of people working at Jewel Food Stores and Rose was one of my favorite people in life. Later on, I would bump into her everywhere. Her good friend lives on the next block from me, or I would see her in Wal-mart or a dozen other stores out and about Mchenry. I grew up on the south side of Chicago, though not Roseland, and we would trade stories about the area. She always made my sons feel special with her interest in them also. Thank you Rose for sharing your heart with us all!

When I was growing up in Roseland. I had a dear friend, Arlenne Panozzo down the street from me on Edbrooke Ave, When I would visit her house Rose would be there chatting and laughing with Arlenne's Mom Zita. They sure were having a great time together! I will never forget those times! What a great Lady!

On behalf of the Greco Family from Roseland and neighbors on Edbrooke, we send our sincere sympathy to Bob and Carol and family of Rose. She will always be remembered for her smile and warmth to all of us kids growing up on Edbrooke. I will always remember her giving me Hostess Snowballs whenever my cousin Ricky and I would come over to play "movies" with Bob....We will always have great memories of Rose and her family and that great block on Edbrook with great neighbors. Sincerely, Teri Greco

On behalf of my family I would like to express condolences to Carol and Robert. We lived next door to Rose in Roseland and she was always so cheerful. She was active in PTA and wanted the best for her family. You were lucky to have had her love and support.

We are so saddened by the passing of our beloved Aunt Rose. She brought such joy to everyone with her warm smile and opened arms. And she had a twinkle in her eye, which nothing could extinguish. Regardless of their ages, whenever Aunt Rose and her siblings got together, the kids in them came out. It was fun for our generation and our kids to see.
It was special for us to be with Aunt Rose to help celebrate her 90th birthday last May.
All these memories of her wll remain with us always.
Our thought and prayers to Bob and Carol!
All our love, Your cousins Tom, Elaine, Maria, Beth and John (Webster, NY)

With a heavy heart and tears in my eyes, I would like to reflect on Rose, who I met in the 1940's when, as a youngster, I bought penny candy in her "corner store." As the years went by, I considered Rose to be an "aunt" to me because of her warmth, kind deeds, and concern for people and how much she valued her family. God bless Carol and Bob at this time...they were fortunate to have the parents they had.
Love,
Arlenne

Rose touched our lives in many ways. She was such a sweet, thoughtful, funny and creative person, and we will miss her very much. She loved her family and friends passionately and wasn't afraid to show it. She was a great story teller and we loved to listen. You couldn't walk into her home without having a spread of food put out. Such a sweet and inspiring soul, we will miss that smile very much. Bob and I were so very saddened by the news that Rose died. I know words cannot really help you right now, but please know how very much we care and feel for you in your loss. Our love, support, and prayers will always be here for you in your time of need. Once again, we are so sorry for the loss of dear Rose.

I loved Aunt Rose the day I met her over thirty years ago. She made me welcome into the family. Like me ,she spoke with her hands and heart. She loved everyone and was a gracious hostess. She was a precious jewel that can not replaced, may she rest in peace til we meet again. We were blessed to know her.
