Dear Marie, Joe and his family were very close to our family when we lived at 1328 Nelson for many many years. We was very saddened to hear about Joe's death. It seems like only yesterday that we were talking and laughing with Joe. Sorry that we will not be able to be there for the funeral. Our prayers will be with your family.

Joe was always doing something around the house on Nelson st. in Chicago. We have known Joe since 1957. We will surely miss him. I pray the Holy Father comfort the family in this time of grief.

Joe was always such a nice guy . I enjoyed having conversations with him on the edge of Happ Road as he took Petey out for all those walks. Rarely saw him without the dog or a smile. So sorry for your sadness.
I know you'll miss him terribly. See you all soon.
