Dear Terry, Clay, Gina, Becky and John,
Suzy was always such an open and sunny presence in my life. She brought a thoughtful, spiritual perspective to life's ups and downs. Her absolute devotion to you and her grandchildren was inspiring to witness. She possessed both a beautiful face and a beautiful soul. I loved her and will miss my wonderful aunt forever.

All my love to Terri, Clay, Gina and Becky as you say good bye to your Mom this week-end, surrounded by the family that she held together with her love, understanding and tenacity. Dear Terry Clay Gina and Becki-and John
My thoughts are with all of you during that time of sadness.. Aunt Suzy was the glue that held us together and her passing will truly end an era and connection of our family to the lakes of Wisconsin. I am so sorry I won't be able to make it to the service-as I will be recovering from surgery. But I just want you all to know she was loved and will be missed by us all---

Dearest Bec...I was honored to have known your Mom. She was a women of grace. I always try to understand why our loved ones have to leave us, but God has a plan and they are needed at a higher place....your Mom is your Gaurdian Angel now and she will protect you, Scotty and your family. Even though you can not reach out and touch her she is there for you....I miss you and I wish I could give you a big hug. Your Mom has left a mark on my heart and she will never be forgot as I will always see her as Mrs. Mead...Becki's Mom...and one of the nicest people I have ever met and beautiful to. She will be missed.

We wll miss you Aunt Suzy !! She was my mom's BF and became known as Aunt Suzy to us kids. Loved how she always wanted to know how you were doing and what you were up to. (and who you were dating) My heart aches for your family in their loss. Bill, my mother, and I are thinking of you all at this sad time in your lives and sending you our heartfelt sympathy; remember that y(our) mother’s, grandmother and wife’s sprit is inside you all , for she “Lived” you are a piece of her legacy. The death of our Suzy “Mom Mead” is hard to accept for she is the one who has been there for you and all of us; in her life she has shown her children, and theirs, a path to follow and now she is resting with the angels, she loved so, in God's embrace.
Say good-bye only for awhile for she is heaven now Cancer free watching over us all, she will continue to help you all grow, in all she has taught us with her time here on earth, to be strong, to persevere, and enjoy life no matter how many lemons are thrown in your path.
I have found in my life that grief has many various paths and will continue on and off for many years, although the intensity lessons and the fond memories replace the sadness. If you listen with your heart Suzy will be there to help you thorough and to accept the reality of her death here on earth; as she accepted and came to terms with the reality of her cancer that took her from us. And last…listen for the bells to ring for another angel has received her wings.
