James Allen Winkler, retired attorney of Foley & Lardner, loving father, grandfather, and son, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9. Jim is survived by his devoted wife, Elizabeth; his children Berengaria (Peter), James Ragnar (Jennifer), Briana (Ruben), Tristan; his mother, Doris Jones Gabel of Newark, IL; his sisters, Janice Smith and Sharon Abrams; stepsister, Mardel Robinson; his brother, David Winkler, and four grandchildren. He was a devoted father and adored grandfather, brother, cousin and loyal friend.
