Len was a wonderful brother to my mother Jean who passed away 30 years ago. He was a devoted uncle to me and my family. He and Janet were there for me in a special way throughout my life without my mom. They especially took the time to spend time with my brother Steve when he was terminally ill. Len will be missed. My love and sympathy are with you Janet and the boys and their families. Marcy Patterson

Len was a terrific guy. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time, discussing topical issues with him. While we didn't agree on many of them, we both appreciated the opportunity to spend time together. I respected his love for his family, his dogs, and the pursuit of knowledge.
