RIP, Ted. Thanks again for your family's contribution to the Cemetery Memorial for Veterans in Bloomingdale (IL). I sit on your bench and think of you every time I visit. The roses are looking great. And watering them twice weekly during the summer will have me out there ... with more resting on your bench, which stands in the same spot you used to take as the Post Honor Guard member raising and lowering the flag on Memorial Day! RIP.

Mary and I were out yesterday at St. Paul Evergreen Cemetery -- trimming the roses for their new season, flying a new flag for Memorial Day, and sitting and reflecting on Ted's bench.
