Lesley Slee

1955 - 2016

Lesley Margaret Slee (nee Stidder) passed away peacefully in Highland Park Hospital with her family by her side on January 30, 2016. Lesley was born in Devon, England in 1955 and moved to Lake Forest with her husband Barry in 1979. Lesley graduated with a degree in Business from Peterborough College (England). She was a talented athlete and excelled at Rowing (Crew), Kayaking, Tennis and Badminton. Lesley was active for many years in several of Lake Forest's social groups, and was a Trustee for the Forest Bluff Montessori School for more than a decade. She was especially talented in Accounting and Finance, and respected for her Business acumen. For the past 24 years Lesley was the Chief Financial Officer of the Slee Corporation (Chicago), of which she was co-founder. Lesley is survived by her husband of 40 years, Barry, her daughter Kate, and new grandchild Addison that she saw born 3 weeks ago.
