To this day, I can hear Doris' voice. She helped me so much 7 years ago and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of her. I thank God for her every day in my prayers because she meant so much to me. She was a gift to me and, still is and always will be. The world is a better place because Doris was in it. She is missed and I cherish the friendship we had.

Although this is belated, my sincere condolences to all members of Doris's family and extended family. I knew Doris years ago when she lived on the floor above me on East 84th Street at Lexington Avenue here in New York City. I would care for her Maine Coon cat, Mr.Wilkie, when she would travel with Krisam Group. We kept in touch for years via holidays cards when Doris moved to Chicago. The past several years have been a challenge for both of us and I have just come to find that Doris is no longer here physically but will always be here in spirit. Doris had the most engaging smile and always quick to laugh. Will keep all of you in prayer and especially for the first anniversary which is already marked on my calendar for 2017. Shalom.
Kindest regards and love,
Mary Kimble

Just heard of Doris's death. I knew her when she was very young...maybe her teens? A bright light. Sorry for her passing. Condolences to all.

Doris and I had a special friendship. She helped me 3 years ago when I was struggling. She shared so much of her experience, strength and hope with me so that I could be where I am today. She had an impact on my life. I will miss her deeply. She was truly an angel on earth. She was loved and cherished by so many. I still hear her voice in my head - so many words of wisdom. She made a difference in the world and in people's lives. My prayers are with you and your family.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Doris' passing. She was the loveliest person. Spunky. Kind. Generous. Thoughtful. Spiritual. A lover of people and life. She had a great laugh and a meaningful hug and I enjoyed every moment I ever spent with her during her time at Krisam Group. Heaven gained quite an angel and we are all richer for having known such a wonderful lady. Just looking at that smile makes me smile. Thanks for the memories Doris!
