Just found out thru ETHS Alumni Newsletter that a wonderful human being, a true mensche, had passed. Personally I was blessed to join Dave as we adventured thru various rights of passage during our time at ETHS. David got me involved in BBYO, B'nai Brith Youth Organization, the "Jewish YMCA". Along with the gift of being able to participate in competitive sports with a bunch of wonderful young men, Dave and I met girls with whom we double-dated and were further encultured into our faith.
A great human being has been taken too early.
May his memory be for a blessing.

I just learned of his passing today. I haven't even informed my daughter yet. He helped my daughter with her case many many years ago. He was one of the kindest humans I have ever encountered. Blessings of comforts to his family and friends. Rest well sir........rest well.

Jody,
The news came all the way to us here in Mexico where we live- because the person who sent it to us knew we would care- and we do.
I'm so very sorry and sad to hear this news- David was an especially lovely man and I know you two had a beautiful bond.
I hope your children and grandchildren are a great comfort to you , now and onward.
With great affection,Diane & Frank

Jodi, I am so sorry for your loss. David was my best friend in high school when I needed a best friend. Although we drifted apart in the ensuing years, we reconnected recently and I'm so glad we did. David treated me to an afternoon of bowling and ribs and it was just like old times. As a bonus, I also reconnected with his lovely bride. For what it is worth, I am thinking of you during these trying times.
Love,
Reid

David is in our hearts always. My children adored his tenderness and wonderful sense of fun. We adored David also for his keen intellectual mind and kind, kind spirit. Wonderful memories will sustain us all.
