Matthew Grubesic Obituary
Matthew George Grubesic of Las Vegas Nevada, passed away on April 26, 2017. Matthew was born on June 5, 1932 in Chicago Illinois. He was a graduate of De La Salle High School and served honorably in the US Navy. He retired as a Vice President of Continental and Harris Bank and served on the Board of Directors for Liberty Savings and Loan. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years Rosalie, nee Barone; his three children, Matthew (Lisa) Grubesic, Andrea (Cole) Parsons, Paul (Audree) Grubesic; his seven grandchildren, Catherine, Nicolette and Abigail Grubesic, Victoria and Jimmy Parsons, Jake and Jessee Grubesic; his brother John (Marylou) Grubisic and his in-laws, The Barone family.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Our deepest sympathy to all the Grubesic family. We were Timberlake neighbors for years and enjoyed many Hinsdale South and Timberlake activities with the family. Matt was a gentle, kind soul, and it's a tremendous loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. The Kerrigan Family

My heart is out to Matt's family. We worked together for many years and enjoyed each others company at bank functions. He was a great guy to be around and he had many people who felt the same way. He will be missed.
