"UNCLE BOB" INTRODUCED MY FATHER
HERB RIX TO MY STEPMOTHER BERNEDETTE
FRISBY AND SO I HAD THE PRIVLEDGE
AS A YOUNG PERSON TO KNOW THIS FAMILY A LITTLE. MY FATHER ALWAYS
PRAISED THE INTREGITY OF BOB FRISBY
AND POINTED OUT WHAT AN OUTSTANDING
CHRISTIAN, BUSINESSMAN AND FATHER
HE WAS. AUNT ELEANOR WAS ONE OF THE
WARMEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER KNOWN
AND I HAVE FOND MEMORIES OF BOTH.
I WAS TOLD THAT UNCLE BOB ATTENDED
ST PASCAL'S GRAMMAR SCHOOL AND
SISTER LYDIA WAS HIS TEACHER IN
8TH GRADE, SHE WAS PRINCIPAL WHEN
I ATTENDED. HIS MOTHER ANNE INTRODUCED MY BROTHER HERB RIX,JR.
TO HIS WIFE AND THEY HAD 8 CHILDREN.
I REMEMBER WHEN THE PHONE RANG WHEN
BOBBY DIED, AND I HAVE DISTINCT
MEMORIES OF DONNY'S FUNERAL SO WE
KNOW THE LOSSES HE ENDURED. HE WAS
VERY PROUD OF HIS FAMILY.
I WAS NOT ABLE TO ATTEND THE SERVICES, MY SISTER GLORIA ATTENDED
ON OUR BEHALF. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY
TO ALL OF HIS FAMILY. TO MY REGRET
WE WERE NOT A CLOSE FAMILY BUT THE
MEMORIES ARE IN TACT AND THE EXAMPLE
BOB FRISBY SET REMAINS. GOD BLESS
ALL OF YOU.

I was very sorry to hear of the death of my mother's cousin, Robert
Frisby. I remember well his mother (my beautiful great-aunt Annie
Frisby) and his pretty sister, Bernadette. They lived near us in Rogers Park and often visited my grandparents, Emmet and Annie Flood. I met Robert Frisby when I helped him edit the story he wrote about his life. After it was printed, he took me to lunch at the Wellington. It was a wonderful story. I'm glad to have been his kin.

My sincerest condolances for loss.

The Droske family sends their deepest sympathy to the Frisby family.
Our parents, Mary and Ed, had a very special friendship with Eleanor and Bob that started way back in the 1940s and was still going strong into the 1990s when, one by one, they were called home to the Lord.
Now that they have all passed on, let us all rejoice that they are reunited in the kingdom of heaven.

Grandpa and Grandma, I'm glad that you two are together again -- and don't worry, I'll take good care of the original Cricket.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Frisby family. We share the sadness of Bobs' passing, celebrate his life and are confident Bob was joyously ushered into Heaven.
We are grateful to God for His gift to our family of a beautiful friendship with Bob, Eleanor and their family which spans many decades.
Bob and Eleanor will always be role models for us. They gently guided us on a path that showed us faith, love and generosity.
This we know to be true; Love never dies and Fond Memories last forever.
Love,
Dick and Maryann Cristante, our children and grandchildren.

So many wonderful memories of Grandpa Bob--visiting he and Grandma Eleanor in Punta Gorda FL then Scottsdale--when I was a child. How I so looked forward to those trips! Their "God-Centered" life and commitment to each other was an example for us all. While we are sad, we should celebrate his life and the model he set for us. We love you and miss you Grandpa Bob but know you are with Jesus and your loving wife, mother and Grandma Eleanor. Thank you for all you have done for us. I'm so proud to be your grandson!
