Steve Chakos, age 60, Army Veteran, passed away Sunday, April 15. Beloved son of Tom and Esther Chakos; loving brother of Joanne Chakos; dear nephew of Penny (Bill) Leider; cousin of Mary (Dave) McGowan and Cindy Leider. Resting at Chapel Hill Gardens West Funeral Home, 17W201 Roosevelt Rd. (just west of Rt. 83), Oakbrook Terrace, on Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday, 9:15 a.m., to Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church. Service 10 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.
