Mary Abigail "Abby" Tucker

MARY ABIGAIL "ABBY" TUCKER Mary Abigail "Abby" Tucker, 33, went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2013, in Sacramento. She was born to Susan Rhodes and John Tucker on May 22, 1980, in Heritage Ranch, CA. Abby was almost a life long resident of Oroville. She attended Ophir Elementry, Central Junior High and was a 1998 graduate of Oroville High School. She then attended Butte College to study interior design. Abby loved animals, cooking, music, gardening volleyball, basketball, camping with her sister and friends at Fort Bragg and fishing on Lake Oroville. She had worked at Gold Country Casino, Bank of America and was a waitress at Cornacopia and Cassidys. Survivors include her mother Susan Rhodes; father John Tucker and his wife Trina; brother Micah and his wife Rachel; sister Hannah Tucker Morris and her husband James; grandparents Bruce and Jo Tucker, Mary Johnson and Mary Jane Rhodes, who passed away just days after Abby; nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; cousins and many friends. A gathering to honor and celebrate Abby's life as well as to say goodbye will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 at 12 noon at the Oroville Church of the Nazarene, 2238 Monte Vista, Oroville. Abby's family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks for the generosity and love the community has shown towards them. Scheer Memorial Chapel is handling the arrangements.
