Robin Irwin Obituary
CHILLICOTHE: Robin Lynne Irwin, 51, of Chillicothe, passed to her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 following a lengthy illness. She was born July 30, 1960 at Fort Belvoir, VA to C. Ray and Ruth (Thomas) Irwin.
Robin is survived by her parents, of Chillicothe; her brother and sister-in-law, Ryle and Jolene Irwin, Vienna, VA; a niece, Lindsey Irwin and nephews, Jordan and Will Irwin, all of Vienna, VA; and a very special Grandma Thomas. Robin leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and special caregivers.
She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Irwin and Grandpa Thomas.
The family extends thanks to the dedicated caregivers who cared for Robin for many years.
She was a believer in Christ as her Lord and Eternal Savior, was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and attended when her health permitted.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Frontier Community Services.
She has gone to her Heavenly Home now - no more pain, no more illness, no more frustration. They are all gone now. Godspeed, Robin.

I was only 7 when Robin came into this world and I loved to pretend that she was my adorable "lil sis". Time passed quickly with many confusing and challenging hurdles along the way, but in the end, there are two things of which I am sure... 1) God placed Robin in tender loving arms here on earth and 2) Those same sparkling toddler eyes that I remember are shining brightly once again....
Never forgotten.

I have this wonderful picture in my mind of Robin singing in God's choir. Robin was blessed with the most incredible parents while here on earth. Our love to both of you and of course, our prayers.

What I am feeling right now is hard to put into words. Robin and Andy were friends for so many years. Her passing will leave a big void in his life. He enjoyed visiting with her at her home on Bellview. Robin was a joy to so, many and will certainly be missed. Love, Frieda & Andy

Ruth and family, I am so sorry to hear of Robin's passing. I loved the time I cared for her on Vine Street-she was always one of my favorite clients. Her wittiness & smile will stay within my heart forever. May God wrap his comforting arms around the family as they celebrate Robin's very special life.
