Buddy Conley Obituary

SOUTH BLOOMINGVILLE: Buddy Conley, 54, of South Bloomingville, passed away suddenly May 1, 2009 at his residence. He was born July 8, 1954 in Hocking Co. the son of Freeman and Dorothy (Danner) Conley.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Berman and Ruby Danner and George and Stella Conley.
Buddy worked at RCA for 26 years and was an avid giant pumpkin grower. He was a member of So. Ohio Giant Pumpkin Growers, Circleville Pumpkin Show Growers, Ohio Valley Giant Pumpkin Growers, PA, NH, NY, WA, OR and others, and was also member of Salt Creek Outdoor Hunter's Assoc.
Buddy is survived by his parents; daughter, Mandy (Frank) Alder; grandchildren, Ella and Joey, life companion Karen Wiget, her children Brent and Stephanie Swackhamer, and grandsons Trever and Brayden; brothers and sisters, Nancy (Paul) Sowers, Lucky (Tonya), Jim (Karen) and Allen (Carol) Conley, and Bonnie (Dave) Hedges; 11 nieces; 12 nephews; other special family members, Virginia Karshner, Rick Danner and Sue (Dave) Morrison; and many other aunts and uncles.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday May 5, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday.
