Marvin Query Obituary

Marvin Lee Query, 72, Greencastle, Indiana, former resident of Lecanto, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at the Mill Pond Health Campus in Greencastle. He was born on April 16, 1938, in Putnam County, Indiana, and was the son of the late Chester Frederick and Mary Helen Cox Query.
He was married to Sally A. Etter on June 1, 1957, and she survives. He is also survived by his children, Marla Corbin and husband David, Greencastle, Bradley Query, Greencastle, and Christopher D. Query and friend Brandi Burdine, Coatesville; his brother DeWayne Query and wife Sylvia, Greencastle; and 10 grandchildren.
He was the founder and president of Putnam Plastics, Cloverdale, Indiana. He was a member of the B.P.O.E. #1077, Greencastle, and was a former reserve deputy sheriff in Putnam County.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale, with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 1, 2010, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Private interment will be held in the Cloverdale Cemetery. We were so sorry to hear of Marvin's passing. Our rememberances of the Query family go back many years to the Reelsville school days. Marvin was a great ball player. Our thoughts are with you.
