Albert Sieber Obituary

Albert Sieber, 91, died on March 30, 2011, in Lecanto, Fla. He graduated from Morristown High School in 1938. Al joined the Army in N.J., in September 1943. He saw action with Merrill's Marauders in Burma. He received the Combat Infantry Badge, the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, Presidential Unit Citation, Asiatic, Pacific, Good Conduct and World War II Victory medals.
Al met his wife, Dottie, working at Bloomingdale's in Short Hills, N.J., and married in 1974. After living in N.J., they moved to Sugarmill Woods in Homosassa, Florida. He and his wife were members of the West Citrus Elks Lodge 2693.
He is survived by his wife, and his daughters, Andrea Means, her husband Paul, and their son Guy Pronesti, and Claudia Slater, and her two children, Reed and Tara Slater; and his brother, George and wife Anita, and two nieces and two nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
