Dorothy Ellen, beloved daughter of the late Arthur A. and Gladys H. (nee Wilmoth) Bauer, loving cousin of Shirley Paulus, Lois M. Bruck, Edgar H. Loop, Janet Yunker, Marilyn Hanson (Melvin), Diane Moore (Bill), Jim Bocklet, Gregory Wilmoth (Cheri), Bill Heil (Ruth), Diane Keeler and Gayle Curtis, dear niece of Glendy Wilmoth. Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Age 84 years. Dorothy was a life long member of the Westwood United Methodist Church. Visitation Monday from 12:30-1:30 PM at the Westwood United Methodist Church, 3460 Epworth Avenue, Westwood where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 PM. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice. Bolton & Lunsford Funeral Home serving the family.

I remember Dorothy as a fun and jovial character every time that I was around her. I always found it hard to believe how my dad said that she was referred to in her teaching days as "No-Nonsense Bauer".

Our family, now cousins and their children, is getting smaller. While it is hard to say good-bye, it is comforting to remember the wonderful family we experienced. The memories are good & give much joy. Dorothy

My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise found in 1 Thessalonians 4 : 14 can bring you some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
