My dear Aunt Liz and Cousins Lucky and Darren,
Jim was a great uncle, and a great host. I always loved coming over to your house and spending time with Jim. He was always there to lift spirits and shoot the breeze about sports, politics, and life. I loved his yarns about his days with Buggs and Miss Ellie and the rest of the family. Despite our differences at times, he never held a grudge or anything. Lucky, you got your dad's easy going nature as well as his sly sense of humor. Darren, you got your dad's focus. Yes, Jim was easygoing, but when he committed to something, he was in 110% and it was his way. You both are like little brothers to me, and Jim was the quintessential uncle. Liz, I know I give you grief, but it has always been in love and jest. You were one of my inspirations for trying to be a teacher. And even though your numerology bingo games get crazy, I treasure our times at ol WT Park Bingo, with Miss Ellie, Goldie, Jeannette, and Pauline and all the rest who came every now and then. I can never forget certain dates now. Jim was very special, and I am sure he is back with Freida, Buggs and Miss Ellie, and they are having a great time playing cards and hanging with Uncle Mickie and great aunt Mary. God bless you all.

Liz, Luck, Darren,
Leah and I are saddened by the loss of Jim. That's a tough fella headed north for the next stop. A great dad, husband, and proud patriot that I am proud to have grown up around.

Jim will be missed by many, many people. Our best memories are when the boys were playing little league baseball. What a proud Dad and loyal fan he was. God Bless.
