My dear Aunt Liz and Cousins Lucky and Darren,

Jim was a great uncle, and a great host. I always loved coming over to your house and spending time with Jim. He was always there to lift spirits and shoot the breeze about sports, politics, and life. I loved his yarns about his days with Buggs and Miss Ellie and the rest of the family. Despite our differences at times, he never held a grudge or anything. Lucky, you got your dad's easy going nature as well as his sly sense of humor. ...

Leah and I are saddened by the loss of Jim. That's a tough fella headed north for the next stop. A great dad, husband, and proud patriot that I am proud to have grown up around.
