Kandace S. (Luecke) Rodgers, ( July 17, 1949 - December 3, 2013 ) Kandace was the daughter of LeRoy Luecke and Wilma (Wilkerson) Cummins. Beloved wife of James Rodgers, mother of Michelle (Shauck) Vance and Theresa (Shauck) Cano. Grandmother of Stephen Vance, Timothy Vance, Kathleen Vance, Christopher Cano, Michael Vance, Dana Cano and Joseph Vance. Also survived by 3 sisters, Sharyn (Luecke) Weir, Deborah (Luecke) Shafer, and Barbara (Cummins) Jackson, and numerous cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kandace, a resident of New Richmond,Ohio, died December 3, 2013 at the age of 64 years. Kandace was devoted to her family, and loved going camping with her husband and dear friends. Visitation 6-8pm Friday at the E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main Street, (St. Rt. 125) Amelia, Ohio. Funeral service 10:30AM, December 7, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment Tate Twp. Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen.
