Dear Pat & Family,
Ray was a great man that will be deeply missed by all. His passion for his profession was outstanding.
I would like to share with you something that was told to me when I lost someone very close to me, that "our loved ones are not gone from us because they leave with us wonderful memories that last our lifetime."
May it bring you great comfort, in you time of sorrow, to know how much Ray meant to all of the lives he touched. Our sincere sympathy to you and your family. Pat & Ernie King

Ray was absolutely one the kindest men I ever met. He carried himself with class and dignity. Truly someone who always had time for good conversation and a kind word. We considered him a very dear friend.
Our sympathy is with you all during this difficult time.

My condolences to the Houk family; Dr Houk treated many of my rescued dogs and was such a nice man and a good vet. The dogs all loved him too.

Dear Pat & family,
I wanted to write all of you together to let you know how saddened I was to hear of Dr. Houks passing.
I know this has brought nothing but sadness to all you you, and I hope you know that he was one of my most favorite Dr.s with Bayroad & Crossings Animal Hospital. He took great time to convince me to give my dog a chance at surgery...and he was right! I can still see that wonderful smile he had when he proved his point. Dr. Houk was the best. He cared about the animals and all the employees and what a sense of humor he will be sorely missed.
I know each of you is mourning independently, but I hope you will also rely on one another to get through this. No one knew Dr. Houk better , so sharing stories and memories with each other can only help. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sadness.
