I see Tommy walking up to the Gates of Heaven. Jesus is standing there with a big grin exclaiming, “I have been waiting for you my child, come on in!”
Then as soon as Tommy starts to open the gate, Jesus hits the lock button. The gate makes a loud clang as Tommy pulls on it and will not open. Jesus, laughing, walks through the gate, throws his arm around Tommy and escorts him into Heaven. With a big smile Jesus says, “I never get tired of that trick”
I still see Tommy laughing at the Firehouse telling me the same story of how he would love to get Mary to pull the handle of the car door just as he locked it, saying “That never gets old!”
You will be deeply missed my friend!

Tom never lost his genuineness throughout his entire life. He always had such a beautiful, compassion, kind spirit and remained the sweet gentle boy I remember going to school with. He touched so many lives and has left a living legacy upon all to whom he met, helped and loved. Our prayers are with you all. Lori and Glen Schulte
