Shirley M. (nee Groothuis) Beloved wife of the late Jack Barry. Loving mother of Melissa Springer, Andrew (Jenny) and John (Stephanie) Barry, Barbara (Ron) Bastin and Diane Barry. Devoted grandmother of Jennifer (Matt) Angel, Kimberly, Rachel, Amanda, Jack, Nathan, Alexis, Alex, Rheanna and Bryan Barry and Matthew, Madison and Morgan Bastin. Great grandmother of LJ Engle. Dear sister of Patricia Lewis and Joyce Taggart. Niece of Reatha Willet. Passed away December 16, 2011. Age 79 years. Visitation Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave., Westwood. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10:30 A.M. at St. Jude Church, 5924 Bridgetown Rd. Barb,
I know how hard it is losing what I think is the single most important compass in my life. I know your mom was that to you, and with this loss comes so many layers of heartache. Please know my heart hurts for you. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. You have my deepest sympathy.
