Ted, you were like a "father" to a lot of the CCDS boys of the 60's and 70's, and the consummate story teller. God Blessed us with your presence and is most likely enjoying being regaled with your Naval stories as I write this. You will be sorely missed and you added so much to my life and the lives of many Cincinnatians. I will continue to remember you when I gaze at the many Stobart's and Ruthvan's that hang on my walls. Dear Gardner Family,
As members of the Church of the Redeemer and long time friends, we were so saddened to hear of Ted's passing and have missed Ted from our community so very much. His absence has pronounced the contributions and value that he added to everything he touched around us.
Ted gave us a deep, sympathetic consciousness and appreciation relative to the costly sacrifices being made every day by our troops. My consciousness relative to the costly sacrifices of our troops has been profoundly affected by being around Ted and how much he cared about the fate of our Armed Forces.
Thanks to his gracious disposition, whenever I saw Ted, he always made me feel well met and kindly considered. His ability to help others feel good about themselves, be it acquaintances or deep friends, has been such a wonderful gift to us.
Ted's passing is a great loss for all of us and he is very missed.
Please receive our most sincere condolences and regrets.
With Best Regards and Wishes,
Greg & Emily Rowe
