Charles. Beloved husband of the late Ginny (nee Gallagher). Devoted father of Michael (Barbara), Robert (MaryAnn) Susan (Matt) Howard, Rich (Beth), Anne (Mark) Kuntz and Mark (Cathy). Loving grandfather of Eric, Sarah, Hope, Lauren, Chris, Jenny, Molly, Charley, Andrew, Nicole, Bryan, Karissa, Zachary, Noah and Hannah. Great-grandfather of Sadie and Tess. Brother of Rita Engel, Charlotte Reinhold, Joe and Jerry Lohmueller and the late Herman, Rosie, Dot, Paul, Al and Elmer. Died Wed. Dec. 26, 2012. Age 90. Lifelong resident of Reading. Visitation Friday Dec. 28, from 4:00-7:00PM at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home 10211 Plainfield Rd. (just South of Glendale-Milford). Funeral Mass Sat. Dec. 29, at 10:00AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Reading. He led the Charley Lohmueller Orchestra for over 40 years as well as being the founder and leader of the Halker-Flege American Legion Post Marching Band for 67 years. In lieu of flowers, memorials requested to St. Rita School for the Deaf or Hospice of Cincinnati. www.mrfh.com

Charlie will certainly be miss, I remember him leading the band in my election as State Commander of the American Legion, a VERY DEDICATED LEGIONNAIRE and FAMILY MEMBER. May you rest in peace and may you continue to lead the band in Heaven.

I remember Charlie leading the marching band on the Memorial Day parades, when I marched with the Cub Scouts, and then the Boy Scouts. He will definitely be missed...

Anne came into our family over 25 years ago when she married my brother Mark. Anne is so beloved by our family because of who she is. I believe Anne's values were instilled in her by both Charlie and Ginny. What wondefull people they were.

I worked with Charley for many years. He is a wonderful person. Charlie loved his family very much,he was so proud of them. Charlie always talked about their vacations and how everyone got along and had so much fun. He will be missed

Charlie was such a mainstay of the Memorial Day parade. I remember seeing the band as a kid in front of Lierman's with the rest of the Weisbrod family. I thank him for the years of service and may he rest in peace.
